Zoo Visitor Killed by Lion After Climbing Enclosure Wall

A tragic incident occurred at the Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park in Tirupati, India, when a zoo guest, identified as Prahalad Gurjar, 34, climbed a wall and chain-link fencing to enter a lion enclosure in an attempt to take a selfie. Despite warnings from a zoo employee, Gurjar jumped into the enclosure and was subsequently mauled to death by the 12-year-old lion.
