The Massachusetts State Police have tragically identified the pedestrian who lost her life in a car crash on Route 146 north in Sutton on Saturday evening as 34-year-old Nicole Young from Thompson, Connecticut.

The fatal incident occurred near exit 13 at around 6:35 p.m., prompting a swift response from troopers who located Young at the scene. According to a press release from the state police, first responders treated her for life-threatening injuries before transporting her to UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Tragically, despite the efforts of medical professionals, Young was pronounced dead at the hospital. The occupants of the vehicle involved in the crash, however, escaped uninjured.
