SUTTON, N.H. (WHDH) – The victim of a tragic pedestrian accident on Route 146 in Sutton has been identified as Nicole Young, a 34-year-old woman from Thompson, Connecticut. The incident occurred on Saturday night when state police responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on the northbound side of the highway near Exit 13.

Upon arrival, troopers attempted to provide life-saving aid to Young before she was rushed to UMass Memorial Medical Center. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Young was pronounced dead at the hospital. The driver and passenger of the vehicle involved in the accident emerged unscathed.
