Dead body discovered in Baxter community of Harlan County
The Harlan County Coroner’s Office in Kentucky was notified by Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 10 of a deceased individual found in the Baxter community.
According to officials from KSP, the body was located inside a commercial coal truck parked in the Dollar General store’s parking lot on Sukey Ridge.
Upon arrival at the scene, Harlan County Coroner John Derrick Noe pronounced the man dead at 10:10 a.m.
The deceased has been identified as 43-year-old Nicholas T. Wilson. His body has been transported to the State Medical Examiners for further investigation to determine the cause of death.
