Man Arrested on Family Violence Charges in LaGrange
LaGrange, Ga. (WTVM) – A man has been arrested by the LaGrange Police Department on multiple family violence charges.
According to officials, on February 17 at approximately 1:27 a.m., officers were called to an undisclosed location following a report of sexual assault.
A female victim alleged that a male, later identified as Laronald Christopher Scott, had sexually assaulted her within the city limits of LaGrange.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division, along with the Special Victims Unit, took charge of the investigation. Further inquiries revealed that Scott was responsible for Aggravated Sodomy (FVA), False Imprisonment (FVA), Sexual Battery, Criminal Trespass (FVA), and was also a Fugitive from Justice.

Subsequently, arrest warrants were issued for Scott.
