ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Tragedy struck in Orange County, Florida, as a man lost his life after being shot on Saturday afternoon, according to authorities.

Law enforcement officials rushed to the scene at the 2500 block of Banks View Circle around 12:52 p.m. following reports of the shooting, the sheriff’s office confirmed in a statement.
The victim, identified as Juan Guerrero, 31, was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, despite medical efforts, Guerrero succumbed to his injuries and tragically passed away, deputies revealed.
