Authorities in Fort Worth are on the hunt for the individual responsible for the tragic death of a man who was fatally stabbed on Friday afternoon.

The Fort Worth Police Department received a call around 5:42 p.m. reporting that a person had been brought to John Peter Smith Hospital on S. Main Street with a stab wound. The victim, identified as 36-year-old Armando Garcia, was pronounced dead at the hospital, prompting law enforcement to launch a homicide investigation.

Investigators believe that the fatal stabbing took place in the vicinity of the Walmart Neighborhood Market on W. Berry Street. However, the exact time of the incident remains unknown at this time.
