Accident – Death – Obituary News : An Augusta resident who had been missing for over a month was tragically discovered deceased on Saturday evening near the intersection of Silver Bluff Road and Atomic Road, as confirmed by the Aiken County Coroner’s Office. The individual was identified as Demon Antwan Parrish, aged 31, and an autopsy is scheduled to take place in Newberry to determine the exact cause of death. This incident is being treated as suspicious.

Coroner Darryl Ables revealed that the body was found by the property owner at 6:05 p.m. on February 17 in a wooded area on the 3500 block of Silver Bluff Road. The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office and Richmond County Sheriff’s Office are collaborating with Ables’ office to investigate this tragic event.
Parrish was last seen on January 8 on Mill Street in Augusta, wearing pink sweatpants and a black jacket, according to a media release from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office. He was last active on social media the following day and was reported missing on January 10.
On January 19, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office announced that Caleb “Honcho” White, 21, is wanted for questioning in Parrish’s disappearance. Additionally, White is wanted on a charge of theft by receiving stolen property.
