Suspects identified in Homicides of Two Young Children in Pueblo

A man and a woman have been named as suspects in the tragic homicides of two young children in Pueblo, Colorado.

The investigation commenced when authorities uncovered the remains of a young girl inside a metal container in a storage facility on West Sixth Street in Pueblo on January 20. The remains, which had been encased in concrete inside the container, were later identified through DNA testing as Yesenia Dominguez.

Identification of Victims

The young girl, Yesenia Dominguez, and another child, Jesus Dominguez Jr., had been reported missing since 2018, although no formal missing person report had been filed. Yesenia was 3 years old at the time of her disappearance, while Jesus was 5.

Pueblo police have named Corena Rose Minjarez, aged 36, and Jesus Dominguez, aged 35, as persons of interest in the case. Prior to their identification, authorities were informed that the children were in Arizona, but this lead turned out to be a dead end.
