Double Homicide Victims identified at UCCS in Colorado Springs

Authorities in Colorado Springs have released the identities of the two victims involved in a tragic double homicide at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS).

The incident took place in the early hours of Friday morning inside a dorm room at Crestone House on the UCCS campus. The victims have been identified as 26-year-old Celie Rain Montgomery from Pueblo, CO, and 24-year-old Samuel Knopp from Parker, CO.

Following the discovery of the deceased individuals, the El Paso County Coroner’s Office conducted autopsies on both Celie Montgomery and Samuel Knopp. While the cause and manner of their deaths are yet to be determined, authorities are treating their deaths as homicides.

Samuel Knopp was a registered student at UCCS at the time of the incident, whereas Celie Montgomery was not enrolled at the university. The investigation is ongoing, with detectives working tirelessly to gather additional leads and information on potential suspects.

The families of Celie Montgomery and Samuel Knopp have requested privacy during this difficult time as they mourn the loss of their loved ones. Authorities are urging the public to respect their wishes and refrain from contacting them.
