The son of a former police officer, Bilaj Tipu, was one of the deceased in the unfortunate event.

The identity of the second deceased, who was the shooter targeting Bilaj Tipu before being shot by his bodyguard, remains unknown. Among the injured were Usman Akbar and Furd Din Butt, who were friends of Bilaj Tipu. They were rushed to Jinnah Hospital in critical condition for medical treatment.

The shooting took place in a private housing scheme in the Chung area, prompting a swift response from a heavy contingent of police officers. Despite the efforts to save him, Bilaj Tipu succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. SSP Investigation Dr. Anoosh Chaudhry and other law enforcement officials arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation into the incident.

Political figures from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), including Atta Tarar and Sohail Shaukat Butt, also visited the hospital following the tragic event. The community is mourning the loss of life and praying for the swift recovery of the injured individuals.
