Man Fatally Stabbed in Santa Ana
The Santa Ana Police Department is currently investigating a tragic incident that occurred on Thursday afternoon, resulting in the death of a 44-year-old man.
Authorities were alerted to the incident at approximately 3:15 p.m. when they received a distressing call regarding a stabbing in the 2000 block of West Chesnut Avenue.
Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered the victim, identified as Rodolfo Rossell from Santa Ana, with a severe stab wound to his chest. Despite efforts to save him, Rossell tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by officials from the Orange County Fire Authority at a nearby fire station.
At this stage, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, and investigators are diligently working to piece together the events that led to Rossell’s untimely death.
