Bhopal: A 28-year-old married woman was allegedly stalked and molested by an accused in the Koh-e-Fiza locality. The incident occurred when the accused, identified as Rakesh alias Tappu, waylaid her near Halalpur and started pressurising her to provide her mobile number. The woman, feeling helpless in the situation, gathered her courage and reported the matter to the Koh-e-Fiza police on Friday.
Details of the Incident
The victim, a 28-year-old married woman, mentioned in her complaint that the accused, Rakesh alias Tappu, had been stalking her for several days leading up to the incident. On Thursday night around 8 pm, while she was collecting a food parcel from a restaurant in Halalpur, the accused approached her and began pressuring her to disclose her mobile number. When she tried to avoid him, Rakesh molested her. The woman immediately left the scene and informed her family members about the ordeal.

According to the victim’s statement to the police, the accused had been stalking her and behaving inappropriately in the past as well. This recent incident of molestation prompted her to take action and report the matter to the authorities. Subsequently, the Koh-e-Fiza police registered a case of molestation against Rakesh alias Tappu and initiated further investigations into the matter.
