Lower Makefield, PA – In a devastating turn of events, a 19-year-old female lost her life in a fatal stabbing incident that occurred on Friday on Waterford Road. The incident has sparked an investigation by the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and the Lower Makefield Township Police Department.

Lower Makefield Police were called to the scene at 2:28 p.m. following reports of a burglary in progress in the 2500 block of Waterford Road. Upon arrival, officers witnessed a harrowing sight – a male assailant attacking a female, tackling her to the ground and repeatedly stabbing her. The incident, tragically, was identified as being domestic-related in nature.

In a desperate attempt to flee the scene, the 23-year-old male suspect ended up injuring himself in the neck with the weapon he had used. Quick-thinking police officers intervened, providing life-saving measures to the female victim. Despite their efforts, the young woman was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The male suspect, who also sustained injuries, was rushed to the hospital as well. Fortunately, he is expected to survive. Authorities have confirmed that charges will be brought against him in the near future.
