Accident – Death – Obituary News : Israeli officials have confirmed that a tragic shooting incident in the southern part of the country has left two Israelis dead and four others injured. The attack took place at the Re’em-Masmyyia junction in Gedera, where a Palestinian gunman opened fire at a bus stop.

The shooter, identified as Fadi Jamjoum, 37, from the Shu’fat refugee camp, was shot dead by an armed Israeli civilian who arrived at the scene. The assailant emerged from a car with Israeli license plates before carrying out the attack. The Israeli Emergency Service, Magen David Adom, rushed the injured victims to the hospital, but unfortunately, two of them, including 20-year-old Yishai Garter from Modi’in Illit, succumbed to their wounds.

In addition to the fatalities, a 20-year-old and a 16-year-old were seriously injured, while a 65-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries. The Israeli army and police launched a large-scale search operation in the area to ensure the safety of the public. Despite initial concerns that the shooter may have had accomplices, it is believed that he acted alone.

Following the attack, the Israeli army conducted raids on Jamjoum’s family home in the Ras Khamis area of Shu’fat, causing significant damage. The Israeli army further intensified tensions by storming a mourning home set up by Jamjoum’s relatives in Hebron, triggering more protests and clashes.
