Tragic Accident in Pitkin, Louisiana Leaves One Dead
A devastating incident occurred in Pitkin, Louisiana, resulting in the loss of a life. The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Jared Bartley Doyle, a resident of Pitkin.
The fatal crash took place on La. 377 in Allen Parish early on Saturday morning, around 6:15 a.m. Louisiana State Police reported that Doyle was driving a 2007 Dodge pickup truck northbound on La. 377, approximately 2.5 miles north of La. 112.
According to LSP Troop D spokesman Derek Senegal, the pickup truck veered off the left side of the road and collided with a tree. The impact of the crash proved to be fatal for Doyle.
The authorities are currently investigating the cause of the tragic accident. It was noted that Doyle was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision, which may have contributed to the severity of the outcome.
