Dead Body Found in Baxter Community, Harlan County, Kentucky

In a grim discovery, the Harlan County Coroner’s Office was alerted by Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 10 about a deceased individual in the Baxter community of Harlan County, Kentucky.
According to officials from KSP, the body was located inside a commercial coal truck parked in the Dollar General lot on Sukey Ridge.

Upon arrival, Harlan County Coroner John Derrick Noe pronounced the man, identified as 43-year-old Nicholas T. Wilson, deceased at 10:10 a.m.
The deceased was then transported to the State Medical Examiners for a thorough examination to determine the exact cause of death.
Both KSP and the Harlan County Coroner’s Office are actively investigating this tragic incident to uncover more details surrounding the untimely death.
