BUSHNELL, Fla. – Two South Carolina Men Arrested After Traffic Stop Leads to Drug and Gun Discovery

Two individuals from South Carolina were taken into custody following a routine traffic stop early Saturday morning, where cash, drugs, and a firearm were uncovered by a Florida Highway Patrol trooper.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., a trooper observed a vehicle exceeding the speed limit on I-75 (State Road 93) near mile marker 312. The trooper confirmed that the car was travelling at 96 mph in a 70 mph zone using radar technology.

Positioned in the official U-turn area of the interstate, the trooper spotted a Dodge Charger, identified by its distinct tail light design, speeding past before changing lanes and accelerating. The trooper then activated the emergency equipment on the marked cruiser, prompting the Charger to pull over.

Upon approaching the passenger side of the vehicle, the trooper detected a strong odour of marijuana emanating from the Charger. The passenger, later identified as 20-year-old Korey Elijah Muller, was seen dismantling a joint into a Chick-fil-A cup in the center console.

A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a bag containing a green leafy substance under the car display, deemed non-medicinal. Both the driver, 22-year-old Keyshaun Alfred Muller, and Korey Muller were questioned about the ownership of the marijuana, with Korey eventually admitting it was his.

The trooper proceeded to search the car and discovered another bag of marijuana under Korey Muller’s feet. Keyshaun Muller claimed ownership of a bag found in the back seat, although there was confusion regarding the contents.

In addition to the drugs, authorities seized $25,181 in cash, a “High-Chew Green Apple THC chewable”, a Mossberg MC20 9MM firearm, and three mobile phones. The car also contained multiple bags of marijuana packaged for distribution, totalling approximately 370 grams.

Both Keyshaun Muller and Korey Muller are facing a series of drug-related charges following the incident. They informed law enforcement that they had travelled from South Carolina to Florida for vacation.
