Crash in Winston-Salem

In Winston-Salem, police responded to a crash at the intersection of North Marshall Street and West Sixth Street. The incident involved two vehicles, with one of them striking the Benton Convention Center, causing minor structural damage. Fire Incident in Winston-Salem

The Winston-Salem Police Department has stated that 57-year-old Michelle Lorraine Smith intentionally set fire to a property on East Third Street. Smith has been charged with five counts of attempted murder and arson. While five family members managed to escape the blaze, unfortunately, the family dog did not survive. The suspect has been identified as Trent Gregory Prince of Lexington. Deputies were able to recover the Gray Dodge Charger linked to the incident, which was found to be stolen from Durham. Prince is wanted for felony speeding to elude, driving with a revoked license, and possession of a stolen vehicle. He is known to frequent a residence in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
