Anand Henry, Former Meta Engineer, Named Suspect in California Murder-Suicide Involving Wife and Twins

Anand Henry, a former Meta engineer of Indian descent, has been implicated in a tragic murder-suicide incident in the US state of California that also involved his wife and their four-year-old twins, as per authorities.

The grim discovery was made on Monday when gunshot wounds were found on Henry and his wife, Alice Priyanka Benziger, in the bathroom of their $2.1 million Alameda de las Pulgas residence.

The lifeless bodies of the couple were found sprawled on the bathroom floor, next to a 9mm handgun that was legally owned by Henry.

Based on the ongoing collaborative investigation by the San Mateo Police Department, the San Mateo County Crime Lab, and the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office, Anand Henry has been identified as the primary suspect, as announced by the San Mateo Police Department in a statement released on Thursday.

Upon gaining entry to the home through an unlocked window, authorities made the heartbreaking discovery of the bodies of the couple’s two children in a bedroom, with no visible signs of physical harm. Reports indicate that Henry sustained a single gunshot wound, while Benziger succumbed to multiple gunshot injuries.
