Three Suspects Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting in Western Coffee County
COFFEE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — In a significant development, three suspects have been apprehended in connection with a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 24-year-old Ethan Hill in Western Coffee County. The victim, a resident of Elba, tragically lost his life in the incident.
Coffee County Sheriff Scott Byrd provided details of the arrest, stating that the three wanted suspects were captured after evading authorities for approximately 16 and a half hours. The apprehension took place at a residence located on Lowry Street in Enterprise.
The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office has identified two of the suspects as Freddie McGhee and Lena McGhee. However, the third suspect, a 17-year-old female, will not be named due to her status as a minor. The specific charges that the three suspects will face have yet to be disclosed.
