Man Arrested for Careless Driving After Fatal Crash in Greeley

GREELEY, Colo. — A man has been taken into custody for careless driving following a tragic accident at the intersection of 35th Avenue and 25th Street in Greeley. The crash, which occurred on Wednesday morning at approximately 8 a.m., resulted in the death of a woman.

The Greeley Police Department has identified the driver of one of the vehicles involved as a 63-year-old man. He sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital, where he is expected to recover. The passenger in his vehicle, a 68-year-old woman, was also taken to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.
