In the early hours of February 13, 2024, the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Lamar received a call regarding an incident of criminal mischief in Crawford Township. The incident took place at 3285 Rauchtown Road, where a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta was vandalized. PSP Lamar immediately responded to the scene to investigate the matter. Domestic Dispute Leads to Harassment Charges in Renovo

On February 12, 2024, at approximately 1:57 a.m., PSP Lamar received a report of a domestic incident involving physical contact in Renovo. The incident occurred on 5th Street and involved a 20-year-old female from Lock Haven and a 23-year-old male from Renovo. PSP Lamar quickly arrived at the scene and filed citations through District Court 25-3-03. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

Suspect Apprehended for Criminal Trespass in Flemington

On February 10, 2024, at around 11:33 a.m., a 19-year-old female residing in Flemington reported an unknown male entering her kitchen without permission. PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to the residence located on Frederick Street, but the suspect had already fled the scene prior to their arrival. However, the authorities managed to locate and apprehend Joshua Grieb, a 43-year-old male from Castanea, soon thereafter. Grieb was charged with Criminal Trespass, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct. He was subsequently taken into custody and is currently awaiting a preliminary hearing at the Clinton County Prison.

PSP Lamar is currently investigating a case of harassment that occurred on Sun Valley Road on February 10, 2024. The victim, a 10-year-old male from Mill Hall, reported the incident, and the arrestee is identified as a 42-year-old male from Lock Haven. The authorities are diligently working on gathering evidence and further details to progress the investigation.

Driver Arrested for DUI Crash in Castanea

On February 10, 2024, Jamison Jones, a 19-year-old resident of Wilkes Barre, was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) after crashing his 2006 Hyundai Elantra on SR 220 North near mile marker 113 in Castanea Township. Jones lost control of his vehicle, causing it to veer off the roadway and collide with an embankment, resulting in the vehicle spinning around and becoming disabled. Fortunately, Jones was wearing his seatbelt and did not sustain any injuries during the crash. However, he was taken into custody and is facing charges related to DUI.

Theft Reported in Bald Eagle Township

A 33-year-old female from Lock Haven and a 28-year-old male from Mill Hall reported a theft incident that occurred on Plunket Run Road on February 9, 2024, at approximately 9:35 p.m. The perpetrator, identified as a 30-year-old female from Mill Hall, allegedly stole a black handbag valued at $5.00, a pair of boots worth $250.00, and a container of medication. The investigation into this theft is still ongoing, and the authorities are actively working to recover the stolen items and apprehend the suspect.

Drug Possession Uncovered in Bald Eagle Township

During a routine traffic stop on Creek Road near Cottage Lane on February 9, 2024, PSP Lamar officers discovered drugs and paraphernalia in the possession of the driver of a 2017 Ford Escape. The driver was promptly charged with drug possession, and the case will proceed through District Court 25-3-02.

Underage DUI Incident in Bald Eagle Township

PSP Lamar initiated a traffic stop on February 9, 2024, involving a 17-year-old male driver from Beech Creek operating a 2017 Ford Escape on Creek Road near Cottage Lane. Upon investigation, it was determined that the driver was under the influence of marijuana. The driver consented to chemical testing, and charges related to driving under the influence are pending the toxicology results.

Identity Theft and PFA Violation Investigated in Chapman Township

PSP Lamar launched an investigation into an identity theft case reported by a 42-year-old male from Renovo on February 9, 2024. The victim discovered that an unknown individual had fraudulently opened a City Bank debit card in his name. The matter is currently under investigation as authorities work to identify the perpetrator and bring them to justice. Additionally, a separate incident involving a Protection From Abuse (PFA) violation occurred on Youngdale Road on the same day. Jeremy Baney, a 27-year-old resident of Williamsport, allegedly violated the PFA order by approaching and verbally harassing a 24-year-old female victim. Charges have been filed through District Court 25-3-01 in response to this violation.

Physical Altercation Results in Harassment Charges in Pine Creek Township

PSP Lamar responded to a physical altercation between two males aged 48 and 50, hailing from Jersey Shore and Lock Haven respectively. The incident took place on February 8, 2024, at 10:42 p.m. at 76 Spong Hollow Road. Both individuals were cited with harassment charges through District Court 25-3-01.

Hit and Run Incident Involving a Commercial Vehicle in Porter Township

On February 7, 2024, PSP Lamar received a report regarding a hit and run incident on I-80 East near mile marker 171. The collision involved an unknown vehicle side-swiping a commercial vehicle driven by Kenneth Moore, a 32-year-old from Columbia, SC. The impact resulted in the driver’s side mirror of the commercial vehicle being broken off. Regrettably, the other vehicle did not stop or report the incident, leaving the scene. PSP Lamar is actively investigating this hit and run incident.

Investigation Underway for Criminal Trespass Incident in Grugan Township

PSP Lamar is currently investigating an alleged trespass that occurred on Hyner River Road in Grugan Township on February 7, 2024, at 2:01 p.m. The incident involved a 2008 Dodge Chrysler, but further details are currently unavailable. PSP Lamar is diligently working to gather more information and progress the investigation.

Theft of Check Reported in Porter Township

A check amounting to $5,000.00 was reported stolen from Jesse Glossner, a 51-year-old resident of Beech Creek, on February 6, 2024. The incident occurred at 1350 Dotterers Road, and PSP Lamar is actively investigating the theft to identify the responsible party and recover the stolen funds.
