A family of Indian origin has been discovered dead in their apartment in California, United States. This unfortunate event is one of several recent incidents involving Indians or people of Indian origin residing in the US.

The family, identified as Anand Sujith Henry, his wife Alice Priyanka, and their twin children Noah and Neithan, was found deceased on February 13. San Mateo police confirmed the tragic incident after responding to a welfare check at their residence.

Upon receiving no response, the police entered the house and discovered the bodies of the four individuals. The investigation revealed that the couple was found inside the bathroom with gunshot wounds. The cause of death for the two children is still under investigation.

The police statement mentioned, “Tragically, the two children were found deceased inside a bedroom. Their cause of death is still under investigation. The male and female were located deceased from gunshot wounds inside a bathroom. A 9mm pistol and a loaded magazine were also found in the bathroom.”

Authorities have assured the public that this appears to be an isolated incident, with no immediate danger to the community. The individual responsible for the incident was located within the home.

Additionally, Vivek Saini, another Indian student, fell victim to a brutal attack by a homeless man wielding a hammer inside a store in Lithonia, Georgia.

Other Indian students named Shreyas Reddy, Neel Acharya, and Akul Dhawan have also tragically lost their lives in the US this year, highlighting the urgent need for enhanced safety measures and vigilance to protect the Indian diaspora.
