New Homicide Investigation in Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Colorado Springs Police Department has upgraded a death investigation to a homicide investigation, following the discovery of a man’s body on Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the 3600 block of Galley Road, situated just north of the Citadel Mall, in response to a suspicious death. The deceased individual has been identified as 37-year-old Nathan Riley.
While the results of the autopsy are still pending, authorities have confirmed that the Colorado Springs Police Department is treating Nathan Riley’s death as a homicide. The reasons behind this classification have not been disclosed at this time.
This unfortunate incident marks the second homicide in Colorado Springs in 2024, reflecting an increase of two cases compared to the previous year.
