A 35-year-old woman was tragically found murdered on Wednesday night in the downstairs room of her building in Andhra Pradesh’s Tenali. The victim, identified as Ramisetti Alekya, was allegedly discovered lying naked and had been strangulated to death, according to preliminary investigations by the police.

Alekya lived with her husband, Bharat, who claimed that she had been involved in an extramarital relationship with a man named Annam Srinivas for seven years. Bharat informed the police that Srinivas allegedly sent goons to kill Alekya, as reported by India Today.

The extramarital affair between Alekya and Srinivas had led to a legal dispute between Alekya and her husband, Bharat. However, the report did not provide specific details about the nature of the dispute. The police have cordoned off the area and initiated a thorough investigation into the murder.

In an unrelated incident, a man from Telangana’s Nirmal district allegedly killed his girlfriend with an axe after she started avoiding him due to an arranged marriage planned by her family.

The incident took place in the Khanapur town of the district, and the victim’s sister, who was present during the attack, also sustained injuries.

According to a report by India Today, Alekhya, the victim, was leaving a tailoring institute at around 1.30 pm when her boyfriend, Jukanti Srikanth, attacked her with an axe.

Tragically, Alekhya died on the spot as a result of the attack, while her sister, who was accompanying her at the time, sustained injuries. The accused, Srikanth, fled the scene and is currently on the run.

The victim, Alekhya, and the accused, Srikanth, were in a relationship. However, Alekhya started avoiding Srikanth after her family planned an arranged marriage for her.

The police have registered a case, and the search for the accused is currently underway. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
