Magnolia Man Charged with Assault in Hart County Stabbing Incident

HART COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) – A resident of Magnolia, Brandon Trumble, aged 30, has been apprehended and charged with first and fourth-degree assault following a stabbing incident.

On February 11, the Hart County Sheriff’s Deputies promptly responded to a domestic-related incident that occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 10,000 block of North Jackson Highway. They discovered a man at the scene who had sustained multiple stab wounds to his arms, hands, and torso.

The victim was identified as a neighbor residing near the property where the police were called. Upon further investigation, law enforcement officials identified Brandon Trumble as the primary suspect in the case. It was determined that Trumble had initially fled on foot before ultimately escaping the area in a vehicle.

Despite extensive search efforts by the police, Trumble managed to evade capture initially. However, warrants were subsequently issued for his arrest. Finally, on Tuesday, law enforcement spotted Trumble on KY 357 in Hart County and successfully apprehended him.
