MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A new development has arisen in the case of the unsolved murder of Magdiel Robleto, who was shot and killed in Memphis last year before being dumped on the side of Interstate 55. Investigators have identified a new person of interest in connection with the crime.

Robleto, a resident of Memphis, was last seen leaving his home at 3547 Macon Road in Nutbush on October 27, 2023. When he failed to return, his family reported him missing. It is believed that he was last seen in the company of at least two other men.

On October 29, 2023, authorities made a grim discovery. Robleto’s lifeless body was found on Interstate 55 in Desoto County, Mississippi. He had been shot multiple times in the head, indicating a brutal and violent crime.

In a recent development, the Memphis Police Department released a photo of an unknown male who was reportedly seen with Robleto when he left Memphis and drove to Mississippi. The police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying this individual, as he may have crucial information regarding the case.

Previously, the police arrested and charged 18-year-old Olman Raudales with first-degree murder and tampering with/fabricating evidence in connection with Robleto’s death. Raudales allegedly admitted to being in the victim’s car, a Honda Civic, when the crime took place. According to Raudales, he and Robleto were attempting to sell two firearms to an unidentified man when the individual shot Robleto in the back of the head from the rear seat of the car. Raudales confessed to cleaning the vehicle of blood and other bodily fluids.

Raudales is currently being held on a $500,000 bond, awaiting trial for his alleged involvement in Robleto’s murder.
