“Indian-American IT Couple and Their Twins Found Dead in California: Victims Identified as Anand Sujith Henry, Alice Priyanka, Noah, and Neithan”

California: Amidst a series of unfortunate death incidents involving Indian students in the US, another tragic case has emerged in which four members of a family, including two children, were found dead in California. The San Mateo, CA Police Department released a statement stating that officers were dispatched to the 4100 block of Alameda de las Pulgas on Monday following a welfare check report. Upon arrival, they discovered the doors locked from the inside. After gaining entry into the house, they discovered the lifeless bodies of a couple and their two children. The deceased have been identified as Anand Sujith Henry (42), his wife Alice Priyanka (40), and their twin children Noah and Neithan (4). They hailed from Kerala, India.

Police Report Gunshot Wounds as Cause of Death

The police reported that two of the victims died from gunshot wounds, while the cause of death for the other two is yet to be determined. The investigation is still ongoing; however, the police have not ruled out the possibility of a murder-suicide.

“Upon arrival, officers found no response. They conducted a perimeter search around the house and found no signs of forced entry. Eventually, they discovered an unlocked window, through which they entered the house and found four deceased individuals – an adult male, an adult female, and two children,” stated the police department. “Tragically, the two children were found deceased in a bedroom, and the male and female were found in a bathroom, both with gunshot wounds. A 9mm pistol and a loaded magazine were also discovered in the bathroom,” they added.

Investigation Underway

The police have taken custody of the bodies and have informed the immediate family members. “The San Mateo County Coroner has taken custody of the four bodies and is currently working on positively identifying each person and notifying their next of kin. Based on the information available at this time, this appears to be an isolated incident with no threat to public safety. We are confident that the person responsible was located within the home. The investigation is ongoing as detectives gather evidence, interview witnesses and family members, and try to establish a possible motive,” stated the police department.

In a similar incident, a wealthy Indian-origin couple and their teenage daughter were found dead in their mansion in the US State of Massachusetts in December last year. Subsequently, medical authorities determined that the deaths were a result of a murder-suicide after conducting an autopsy.
