Mechanicsville Woman Dies Following Head-On Collision

MECHANICSVILLE, Md. – A tragic incident occurred on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at approximately 8:25 am, when two vehicles collided on Mechanicsville Road and Red Oak Lane in Mechanicsville, MD.

The Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack received a report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries and promptly dispatched troopers and emergency services personnel to the scene.

Upon arrival, they found one driver in serious condition. Immediate medical assistance was provided, and the driver was airlifted by Trooper 7 to Washington Hospital Center for further treatment.

Regrettably, despite efforts to save her, the driver, identified as Casey Nicole Faulds, a 27-year-old resident of Mechanicsville, MD, succumbed to her injuries on Friday, February 9, 2024.
