Texas Authorities Confirm Gunman Dead After Shooting at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church

Authorities in Texas have confirmed that the suspect responsible for opening fire and injuring two individuals at Lakewood Church, led by Pastor Joel Osteen, on Sunday afternoon, has been pronounced dead. Police Chief Troy Finner revealed that the shooting incident occurred at 1:53 p.m., coinciding with the scheduled start of the church’s Spanish language service.

The suspect has been identified as a woman who entered the church premises wearing a backpack and a trench coat, while carrying a long rifle, according to reports from Fox News. Chief Finner also mentioned that the woman was accompanied by a young child, approximately 4 to 5 years old.
