AMPANG: The lifeless body of a 53-year-old local woman, who was found naked in Tasik Pandan Lake View in Pandan Perdana, has been identified by authorities. Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail has confirmed that a post-mortem examination was conducted at Hospital Ampang, revealing drowning as the cause of death.

The incident took place on Sunday (Feb 11), when a member of the public reported that a woman without any clothes had entered the lake at 8:13 a.m. The police swiftly responded to the call and managed to recover her body approximately two hours after she was last seen.

Upon inspection of the scene, the authorities found no identification documents that could help in the immediate identification of the deceased woman.
