Hamilton Police responded to a distress call from a residence located near the intersection of Trafalgar and Mud Street at approximately 8 pm on Saturday. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, identified as Kuldip Singh of Stoney Creek, with grave injuries. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was sadly pronounced deceased.

Son Sought for Homicide

The investigation quickly revealed that the deceased’s son, 22-year-old Sukhraj Cheema-Singh, is the primary suspect in the case. Hamilton Police have issued a warrant for his arrest on charges of First Degree Murder. The authorities consider him armed and dangerous, urging the public to exercise caution if they come into contact with him.

Sukhraj Cheema-Singh managed to flee the scene in a dark blue mid-size SUV. The vehicle was last spotted heading northbound on Trafalgar towards Mud Street.
