Good news! Two-year-old Lucialyn Aflleje has been located and is alive. Eugene Wayne Tudela Huffman, the man believed to have taken her this morning, is now in police custody. This update was provided by the Guam Police Department at 5:19 p.m., on February 11, 2024.
While the police are unable to provide further information at this time, including whether the girl has been injured, Police spokeswoman Berlyn Savella stated that she is awaiting further details. Assessments on the girl’s condition and investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
Original Alert: Amber Alert Issued for Missing 2-Year-Old Girl
The Guam Police Department has issued an AMBER Alert for a missing 2-year-old child named Lucialyn Aflleje. The alert was issued on February 11, 2024.
According to reports, Lucialyn was last seen on February 11, 2024, at approximately 10:05 AM in the village of Dededo on Chalan Kareta Street along Rt. 3. She is believed to be in immediate danger.
The person of interest in this case is Eugene Wayne Tudela Huffman, who can be seen in the picture on the right. Huffman was last seen leaving the area in a 2017 White Mitsubishi Lancer with license plate number 955 DP. He was described as wearing black and white striped basketball shorts and was shirtless. His current whereabouts are unknown, and it is crucial that the child be located as soon as possible.
Initial investigations indicate that Lucialyn was taken from her residence following a physical altercation between Huffman and a female victim. Lucialyn is the daughter of the female victim, and there is no known relationship between Lucialyn and Eugene.
Child Description
Lucialyn is approximately 3 feet tall with curly hair, a dark complexion, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a turquoise sheer tank top with a white shirt underneath. She was also wearing pampers, turquoise rubber shoes (Crocs) with a pink strap, and had painted finger and toenails in the color purple. No scars or birth markings have been identified on her.
The Guam Police Department has activated the Domestic Assault Response Team and personnel from the Special Operations Division to aid in the search for Lucialyn. An All Points Bulletin has been issued to all precincts and Law Enforcement Entities.
