One Fatally Shot and Another Injured in Ohio Nightclub Shooting

One individual tragically lost their life, while another sustained injuries in a shooting incident that occurred outside a nightclub in Ohio.

In the early hours of the morning, at around 2:15 a.m., local law enforcement responded to a report of a person shot in the 900 block of Race Street, according to a spokesperson from the Cincinnati Police Department.

The unfortunate incident took place outside the Tulua nightclub, as reported by WCPO.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered Lamonte Scruggs, a 27-year-old victim with a gunshot wound. Scruggs was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.

A second individual who had also been shot was taken to the hospital, fortunately with non-life-threatening injuries.

An ongoing investigation into the shooting is being conducted by the Homicide Unit of the Cincinnati Police Department.
