“18-Year-Old Alok Brutally Killed in Woodland Park, Delhi: Police Arrest Prime Suspect”

New Delhi: In a tragic incident, an 18-year-old youth named Alok was brutally killed in Woodland Park located in the Rajouri Garden police station area of West Delhi. The victim and the accused both hailed from the Raghubir Nagar locality in Delhi.

Upon receiving information, the local police team, accompanied by senior officials, swiftly arrived at the crime scene. The body was then transferred to a mortuary for post-mortem examination following a thorough inspection.

Police Investigation and Arrests

The victim, Alok, sustained wounds to his chest and back, as observed during the physical examination. Subsequently, a case was registered at the Rajouri Garden police station under the appropriate sections of the law, and the investigation was initiated. Two suspects involved in the youth’s killing have been apprehended by the police.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police (West Delhi) stated, “On February 10, a PCR call was received at Rajouri Garden police station regarding an unconscious person at Woodland Park. Upon reaching the spot, the PCR van and local police discovered that it was a case of homicide.”

Senior police officials, along with the Crime and Forensic teams, also arrived at the scene to gather evidence and conduct further investigations.

Based on preliminary findings, the police registered a murder case, and during the post-mortem examination, it was revealed that the deceased had suffered a gunshot injury.

The Deputy Commissioner added, “Following initial inquiries and local intelligence, a prime suspect named Saurav Chopra, a resident of Raghubir Nagar, came to light. We promptly conducted a raid and apprehended the suspect.”

Upon sustained questioning, the suspect, Saurav Chopra, confessed to his involvement in the incident. Another individual named Pratham (18), also a resident of Raghubir Nagar, was identified as an associate and was subsequently arrested as well.

The police are currently interrogating the accused to ascertain the motive behind the murder, and efforts are underway to recover the firearm used in the crime.
