15-Year-Old Arrested in Connection with Armed Robbery of Domino’s Pizza Delivery Driver in Hyde Park

Boston police have apprehended a male 15-year-old suspect in relation to an incident that occurred last week, where a Domino’s pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint in the Hyde Park neighborhood of the city. The arrest was announced by the police on Sunday.

The teenager, who resides in Hyde Park, is now facing a charge of delinquency to wit: armed robbery, as stated by the Boston police in a press release. The accused will be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court.

Background of the Robbery

The armed robbery took place on Wednesday around 1:40 p.m. in the vicinity of the Fairmount Housing Development located at 21 Woodglen Rd., as previously reported by the police. Two suspects were involved in the incident, with one of them pointing a black handgun at the delivery driver before seizing the food from the worker’s bag and fleeing the scene.

According to the initial police reports, the two suspects were described as Hispanic teenage males. One of the suspects was seen wearing a red jacket, blue pants, and a black face mask, while the other suspect wore a white jacket with blue sleeves.

Arrest and Investigation

During the investigation of the crime scene, officers observed an individual matching the description of one of the suspects walking in front of an unmarked police car. Detectives attempted to stop him, but the individual fled. Approximately 20 minutes later, the police managed to apprehend the individual, who was later identified as the 15-year-old resident of Hyde Park. Subsequently, detectives obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s residence and discovered evidence related to the crime.

While the arrest of the first suspect has been made, the police have not yet apprehended the second suspect. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
