Group of Louisiana Fugitives Arrested in Henderson on Felony Theft Charges

HENDERSON CO., Ky. (WFIE) – In a recent incident that unfolded in Henderson County, a group of Louisiana fugitives has been apprehended on charges of Felony Theft and Criminal Conspiracy. The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office officials received a tip-off that a vehicle with a South Carolina registration, belonging to 54-year-old Patrick Mack, a wanted man from Louisiana, was entering Henderson County.

Following the lead, an officer tracked down Mack’s vehicle at the Sugar Mill Inn, located on US 41 North. As Henderson Police Department officers approached the vehicle, they discovered three men inside. The men were identified as 71-year-old Thomas Riley, 34-year-old Pete Mack, and 60-year-old Thomas Mack.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Patrick Mack had just purchased two rooms in the motel lobby. A detective from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office found Patrick and learned that he had concealed zip lock bags of jewelry in a nearby trash can.

Subsequently, when the authorities checked all four men for existing warrants, they made a shocking discovery. All four individuals were wanted in Louisiana for Felony Theft and Criminal Conspiracy by the DeRiddler Police Department. The total bond amount for each individual was set at $250,000, amounting to a staggering $1 million collectively.

The fugitives were promptly arrested and booked into the Henderson County Detention Center. During the arrest, officers found several pieces of stolen jewelry in the pockets of all four men.
