Northport Man Tragically Loses Life in Tuscaloosa Road Accident
A 20-year-old Northport resident, Oscar L. Trejo, met with a fatal accident in the early hours of Saturday near Tuscaloosa. According to state troopers, Trejo’s pickup truck veered off the road and collided with a tree.
The incident occurred on Watermelon Road, less than a mile north of the Tuscaloosa city limits. Sadly, Trejo did not survive the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. It is believed that he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
The Northport man was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado when the accident occurred. This tragic incident has left the local community in shock and mourning the loss of a young life.
