Investigation Underway After Woman Fatally Shot in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. — Authorities are currently conducting an investigation following the fatal shooting of a woman in Aurora on Friday evening. The incident took place in the 1700 block of North Paris Street at approximately 8:30 p.m., prompting a response from the Aurora Police Department.

The victim, an adult female whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Aurora Police Department. The Adams County Coroner’s Office will disclose her identity at a later time. The Major Crimes/Homicide Unit of the Aurora Police Department has taken charge of the investigation. At present, no information regarding the suspect is available.
