A 29-year-old male suspect has been charged by the Chicago police in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. The authorities have identified the accused as Enrique Hairo, who now faces multiple charges including aggravated battery use of a deadly weapon, aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, and aggravated battery in a public place.

The arrest of Hairo took place on Friday in the 1900 block of North Cicero Avenue. Law enforcement officials successfully identified him as the perpetrator responsible for the stabbing of a 25-year-old man that occurred in the early hours of September 30. The incident took place in the 4100 block of West Wilcox Street.

Hairo is expected to appear at a detention hearing scheduled for Saturday, where further legal proceedings will take place.
