The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is currently conducting an investigation into a fatal shooting that took place on the 6th of February on the 3200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE in Washington, D.C.
According to official MPD documents, officers were dispatched to the scene in response to a report of a traffic collision. Upon arrival, they discovered a man inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as Rufus Brown, a 48-year-old individual residing in the area.
The MPD is offering a reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this homicide.
