Prompt action was taken by the officers, along with the assistance of Casper Fire–EMS and Banner Wyoming Medical Center medics, who initiated life-saving measures and swiftly transported Lopez to Banner Wyoming Medical Center. Sadly, he later succumbed to his injury, according to a news release by the department.
