High-Speed Police Pursuit Crash in Fontana

A tragic incident occurred in Fontana, resulting in the death of a third teenager from San Bernardino. The high-speed police pursuit crash not only claimed the lives of two young passengers but also left two police officers and the driver of the chased car seriously injured.

The fatal incident unfolded on Saturday night when the unidentified driver of a white Nissan Sentra, who refused to comply with a traffic stop, initiated a 20-second pursuit. The chase reached speeds exceeding 100 mph, eventually culminating in a devastating collision between the driver and a police car at the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Cypress Avenue, as stated by the police in a recent press release.

Tragically, the two passengers in the Nissan Sentra, later identified as 15-year-old Robert Rias and 14-year-old Domonic Adams Jr., succumbed to their injuries at the crash site. Additionally, the driver and another passenger were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the third passenger, 15-year-old Omari Pitts, could not overcome the severity of his injuries and passed away later.
