Upper Darby police are on the lookout for Yeicop Menjivar, also known as Yieco Menjivar Pacheco, who is wanted for murder and related offenses in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday morning, February 4. The shooting took place on the 200 block of Kent Road, leaving the community in shock.
According to a report by 6abc, the victim has been identified as 24-year-old Kenito Montoya. The outlet spoke to Montoya’s family, who revealed that Menjivar arrived at their home with the intention of speaking to his ex-girlfriend, who happens to be Kenito’s sister. In an attempt to protect his sister, Montoya engaged in a confrontation with Menjivar.
As the argument escalated, Menjivar brandished a gun and shot Montoya in the forehead, resulting in a fatal injury. Upper Darby Police Superintendent Tim Bernhardt confirmed the details provided by 6abc and emphasized the severity of the incident.
The identification of Menjivar as the suspect, coupled with the murder charge, suggests that Montoya tragically lost his life due to the shooting. The community is now rallying together to support the Montoya family and seek justice for Kenito’s untimely demise.
