A Georgetown man, who was previously arrested last week following a series of unusual incidents with residents, has been arrested again, according to jail records. The suspect, identified as 40-year-old Phillip Warner, was taken into custody by Roanoke police after attempting to evade them.

The incident occurred on January 30th, just before noon, when police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 600 block of Howe Road in Roanoke. Witnesses stated that Warner had parked his vehicle on the sidewalk and approached a woman who was walking her dog, making her feel uncomfortable. When officers tried to engage with Warner, he ignored them and quickly returned to his vehicle in an attempt to flee. After a six-minute pursuit, officers successfully apprehended Warner in Trophy Club.

During the investigation, it was discovered that earlier that morning, Warner had allegedly tried to enter an occupied vehicle in the 1200 block of North Hwy 377. The vehicle, a Honda Accord with a temporary tag, matched the description of a vehicle that had evaded Grapevine police officers earlier that same day.

Roanoke police charged Warner with evading arrest/detention with a vehicle and possession of a controlled substance. He was subsequently booked into the Denton County Jail on January 30th. Additionally, Grapevine PD also filed charges against Warner for evading arrest/detention with a vehicle.

Warner was initially released on bond on Thursday, but on Monday, he was once again booked into the Denton County Jail. This time, he faced three charges from the Denton Police Department for offenses that occurred on Thursday. The charges against him include criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and violating bond.
