According to the Omaha Police, the shooting occurred in an alleyway near 32nd and L Street on Saturday night. The incident originated from a disturbance related to a firearm. Tragically, Hernandez-Rosales and Rodriguez-Juarez, who were inside an SUV, were struck by the gunfire from the off-duty officers. Immediate medical attention was provided, but both victims succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced dead at the hospital.

In a press release issued on Monday, the Omaha Police Department appealed to anyone who witnessed the shooting at the Extasis Night Club to come forward and provide their account of the events. They urged potential witnesses to contact OPD at 402-444-5656.
