KENT, Wash. – A 58-year-old woman was shot and injured during an attempted home invasion in Kent on Monday afternoon. The incident took place at a residence in the 24200 block of 94th Avenue South, where individuals were reported attempting to forcibly enter a home.

According to the 911 call, the assailants, armed with firearms, fired shots inside the house, injuring the woman. The suspects then fled the scene in a silver Jetta.

Swift Police Response and Apprehension of Suspects

The alleged shooter, a 19-year-old man from Federal Way, was identified and subsequently arrested.
