Tragic Overdose Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Girl in Phoenix Gas Station

PHOENIX – In a devastating incident, a 17-year-old girl named Morning Gorman lost her life due to a drug overdose at a gas station in Phoenix early Monday morning. The tragic event unfolded near the intersection of 27th and Northern avenues at approximately 3:15 a.m.

Following a welfare check, the police discovered the lifeless body of Morning Gorman inside a car, along with another man and two teenage girls. It is believed that Morning Gorman was in the company of the others when the fatal overdose occurred.

The authorities immediately rushed Morning Gorman to a nearby hospital, but despite their efforts, she could not be saved, ultimately succumbing to the overdose.

Investigations have revealed that the three underage teenagers, including Morning Gorman, were picked up by a 48-year-old man named Richmond Sam from a nearby park the previous day. Throughout the evening, Sam allegedly provided the teenagers with drugs, leading to the tragic outcome.

The situation took a dire turn when the teenagers noticed Morning Gorman’s unresponsiveness at the gas station, prompting them to call for immediate assistance.

Richmond Sam, upon police interrogation, admitted to supplying drugs to the underage teenagers. As a result, he is now facing charges of manslaughter, providing drugs to a minor, and child abuse.
