Two Arrested in Lucknow Triple Murder Case: Uttar Pradesh Police

The Uttar Pradesh Police announced on Sunday that they have apprehended the two suspects involved in the Lucknow triple murder case, which occurred on Friday. The accused individuals, identified as Lallan alias Siraj and his son Faraz, were taken into custody by the authorities.

The brutal incident took place in the Mohammed Nagar area of Mahilabad, Lucknow. The victims, who included a teenage boy, were shot dead by the accused duo over a property dispute. Shockingly, it has been revealed that the perpetrators were actually relatives of the deceased family.

According to the news agency PTI, the dispute originated from a land conflict between the family of 40-year-old Farheen Khan and their close relatives. Seeking a resolution, Khan’s family had invited a “lekhpal” (a land records officer) to measure the disputed land. However, tensions escalated when their relatives arrived in an SUV, leading to a heated argument between the two factions.

Tragically, during this confrontation, the accused opened fire, resulting in injuries to five individuals, including Khan, her 17-year-old son Hanjala, his uncle Muneer Ahmed alias Taj, and two others. The victims were immediately rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, Khan, her son, and Ahmed succumbed to their injuries, according to a police official.

The authorities have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against four individuals in connection with this heinous crime. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are determined to bring all the culprits to justice.
